Understand the four workspace roles and what each one can access
Roles & Permissions
Every person in your workspace has a role. The role determines what they can see and do — from practicing roleplays to managing billing. This page explains the four roles and their default permissions.
The four roles
Owner The account owner. Has full access to everything in the workspace, including billing, members, and settings. The Owner cannot be removed or demoted — if you need to transfer ownership, contact SkillTap support.
Admin Full access to workspace settings, billing, members, scorecards, company context, and team performance. Admins can do everything the Owner can, except the account-owner protections above.
Manager Sees the whole team's performance and calls, and manages scorecards, company context, and drill assignments. Managers do not have access to billing, member management, or workspace settings.
Member (Rep) Practices roleplays, uses the AI agent, and works with prospects. A Member only sees their own calls and performance — not their teammates'.

Owner has the same access as Admin, so it isn't shown as a separate column below.

How to assign roles
Go to Settings → Members to invite a new person with a role, or to change an existing member's role. Only Admins and Owners can invite members or change roles.
What Reps see vs. Managers
Your reps see only their own calls and scores. Managers and admins see the whole team's performance.
A note on customization
These are the default permissions. They can be adjusted for your workspace on request — reach out to your SkillTap contact if you need a different arrangement.
