The short version

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember which organization you are working in, and remember your display preferences. We also load a support chat widget that sets its own.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can recognize your browser on your next request. Some are set by us; some are set by services we embed.

What we use

Strictly necessary

These make the Service work. Without them you cannot stay signed in.

  • Session — keeps you authenticated after you sign in, so you are not asked to prove who you are on every page.
  • Current organization — remembers which organization you are working in, so we show you the right data and apply the right permissions.
  • Security — protects against cross-site request forgery and similar attacks.

You cannot turn these off and still use SkillTap. They are set because you asked us to sign you in.

Functional

These improve the experience but are not required.

  • Display preferences — remembers choices such as light or dark theme.
  • Support chat — our support chat provider sets its own cookies so a conversation with us survives a page reload. If you never open the chat, this is of no consequence to you.

What we don't use

  • No advertising or marketing cookies. We do not run ad pixels or retargeting tags.
  • No cross-site tracking. We do not follow you around the internet, and we do not share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • No third-party analytics suites. We do not load Google Analytics or an equivalent product analytics tracker on this site.

If that changes, we will update this page and give notice before it takes effect.

Managing cookies

Your browser can block or delete cookies — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and keep you signed out; the rest you can refuse with no loss beyond the convenience they provide.
